As a Field Application Engineer, you’ll work directly with customers solving complex technical challenges in mission-critical, intelligent distributed systems. You’ll engage with advanced programs across defense and other critical industries, understand their technical requirements, and help teams adopt RTI’s leading software architecture to build reliable, real-time systems.
RTI technology is deployed across 400+ programs of record, including command-and-control, air defense, avionics, autonomous vehicles, and ground systems used by the U.S. and NATO. Beyond defense, our software supports power generation, medical robotics, and other mission-critical applications. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of software, systems engineering, and real-world applications—helping customers turn complex technical challenges into operational capabilities.
