About the role
We’re looking for an experienced National Key Account Manager to join our team in Heathwood and lead some of our most significant national customer relationships.
This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll influence strategy, drive commercial outcomes, and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and sustainable business growth.
Job Description
As National Key Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic national accounts while leading and supporting a team of Key Account and Business Development Managers.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
•
Developing and executing national account strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
•
Building strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders and decision-makers
•
Leading contract, tender and pricing negotiations
•
Identifying opportunities to increase profitability and customer value
•
Monitoring account performance and leveraging insights to drive improved outcomes
•
Collaborating across sales, marketing, operations and supply chain teams
•
Driving consistent execution across the branch and sales network
•
Coaching, mentoring and developing a team of account management professionals
•
Influencing internal stakeholders to deliver on customer commitments and strategic objectives
Qualifications
ou are a commercially minded sales leader who thrives on building long-term partnerships, leading teams, and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
•
5+ years’ experience in Key Account Management, Business Development or Sales Leadership
•
Proven success managing large national accounts and complex sales cycles
•
Strong leadership capability with experience developing high-performing teams
•
Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
•
Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of profitability, margins and P&L drivers
•
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
•
A collaborative approach and the ability to influence across multiple business functions
•
Experience within the automotive, transport or commercial vehicle aftermarket sector is advantageous, but not essential
