What You Will Do
Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and service of aircraft engines, is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Senior Technician role in the Draft/Product Definition group. This position provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced jet engines for both military and commercial programs. You will play a key role in creating and maintaining engineering models and documentation to support the design and manufacturing of cutting-edge engine components.
As a Sr Technician: Drafting/ Product Definition, at Pratt & Whitney you will……
•
Create and manipulate 3D parametric solid models and associated engineering drawings using current graphics software.
•
Develop engineering documentation to support the release and revision of engineering drawings.
•
Ensure models and drawings align with design intent, manufacturability, and product definition standards.
•
Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in accordance with ASME Y14.5 standards.
•
Participate in group meetings, teleconferences, and training sessions as required.
•
Support initiatives for continuous improvement within the product definition community.
•
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure part designs meet program requirements.
•
Manage data and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications You Must Have
•
Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and associate’s degree in engineering technology or a related field obtained by start date.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
