The hourly rate pay for this position at Scotts will generally fall between $21.00 - 21.00 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
What you’ll do in this role:
•
Perform a safety check of the equipment to ensure it is safe to operate.
•
Performs daily assignments as directed by team Group Leader or Supervisor
•
Actively maintain good housekeeping standards in their assigned area
•
Safely operate a forklift to transport materials.
•
Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times.
•
Ability to learn multiple pieces of automated equipment and flexibility to move to different work stations daily.
•
Effectively communicate and relay information to peers and/or supervisors concerning the performance of the production line as it pertains to the assembly, operation and performance of the line.
•
Perform various manufacturing inspection protocols to ensure plant quality standards on granular packaging products and display units.
•
Adhere to plant safety rules and programs as it pertains to self and all other associates.
