What you’ll do Docusign’s Mobile Engineering organization is looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager (M4) to lead and scale our end-to-end mobile strategy across the entire company. Docusign is redefining how the world handles agreements, moving beyond e-signatures to an Intelligent Agreement Management platform that makes agreements smarter, faster, and more connected across the entire agreement lifecycle. In this role, you will oversee all mobile engineering initiatives, spanning flagship native iOS applications, customer-facing native SDKs, and foundational mobile platform infrastructure. You will manage a high-performing organization composed of engineering managers, lead engineers, and cross-functional feature teams. As an organizational leader, you will partner closely with executive leadership in Product, Design, Security, and Platform Engineering to ensure mobile is a primary growth and technology driver for Docusign. You will balance long-term technical vision with predictable delivery, maintaining enterprise-grade security and consumer-level polish across all mobile touchpoints. This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering. Responsibility Lead, scale, and inspire a company-wide mobile engineering organization, directly managing senior technical leads Define and execute the company-wide mobile roadmap in close partnership with Product Management, Design, and executive stakeholders Oversee technical execution, quality standards, and release velocity for all client applications and developer-facing native SDKs Establish organization-wide standards for mobile architecture, security compliance, accessibility, continuous integration, and automated testing pipelines Recruit and hire top iOS / Android engineering talent, building a diverse and inclusive team Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative culture centered on high performance, continuous learning, and clear career progression for individual contributors Drive headcount planning, team structuring, budget allocation, and vendor partner relationships across the mobile organization Serve as the chief advocate for mobile capabilities across Docusign, ensuring backend platform, security, and AI teams build with mobile-first integration in mind Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. Preferred job designations are not guaranteed when changing positions within Docusign. What you bring Basic B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a deep background in mobile technologies (iOS and Android) 5+ years of engineering management experience, including direct experience managing and leading multi-team mobile organizations Proven track record of leading teams that deliver enterprise-grade, high-volume native mobile apps and public developer SDKs Demonstrated success partnering with cross-functional executive teams in an Agile SaaS environment Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain engineering talent Preferred M.S. in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related technical field Experience overseeing both product-facing application teams and dedicated mobile platform or infrastructure teams Deep knowledge of enterprise mobile security, privacy regulations, OAuth/SSO standards, and SDK distribution lifecycles Proven experience managing multi-site or globally distributed engineering teams Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
