Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will report into the U.S. Corporate Accounting team and be responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes related to sales and marketing expenses, debt, and prepaids including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations, as well as fluctuation analyses. This role requires an understanding of U.S. GAAP and its application to corporate accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
• Support monthly close and internal reporting process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for accrued sales and marketing expenses, debt, and prepaids
• Assist in ensuring that financial statements and related accounting processes for the U.S. Corporate Accounting team are in compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Analyze monthly and quarterly fluctuations in accounts associated with areas of responsibility
• Assist with completion of internal controls associated with areas of responsibility
• Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes
• Provide support to General Accounting group with operational analysis as related to recurring transactions and the monthly account reconciliation process
• Provide support for accounting for new business initiatives
• Assist with various projects and accounting matters and drive value within the business, aware that the availability for work will be in Eastern Time (ET).
• Performs other duties as required
Education and Experience:Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, MSA / MBA a plus
• Advanced conversational english
• 3-6 years experience of public accounting and / or corporate experience at SEC registered entities
