Job Description
As a Senior System Administrator you will:
•
Investigate, diagnose and resolve system-related problems to ensure the reliable operation of ICT systems.
•
Install, configure and upgrade infrastructure software, including system monitoring solutions, and test upgrades before implementation.
•
Monitor system performance and diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
•
Install, maintain and support data centre hardware infrastructure, including servers, enclosures, UPS systems, patch panels, tape libraries and cabling.
•
Schedule installations, upgrades and maintenance activities to minimise service disruption.
•
Ensure compliance with organisational procedures to maintain system integrity and security.
Qualifications
What would make you a fit for the role:
•
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or another relevant field, with at least 6 years of relevant professional experience.
•
Valid ITIL certification is mandatory.
•
