About the role
ABIS is seeking a skilled Coating Engineer to join our Oil & Gas industry team. The Coating Engineer will be responsible for developing, planning, and supervising coating projects to ensure the protection of equipment and structures against corrosion and other environmental factors. This role involves close collaboration with project teams to specify coatings, manage application processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, extensive knowledge of coating systems and materials, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities

Develop coating specifications and procedures for oil and gas projects.

Inspect and evaluate surfaces to determine appropriate coating systems.

Supervise coating application activities to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.

Coordinate with quality control and inspection teams to monitor coating integrity.
