key Responsibilities
•
Receive and process material requisitions.
•
Pick, pack, and issue stock according to approved requests.
•
Verify quantities and item codes before issuing stock.
•
Capture stock transactions accurately on the inventory management system.
•
Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
•
Assist with stock counts and cycle counts.
•
Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Stores Controller.
•
Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
•
Maintain good housekeeping and comply with safety standards.
•
Investigate and report stock discrepancies.
•
Support receiving and put-away activities when required.
Requirements
•
Grade 12 (Matric).
•
Certificate in Stores, Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
•
Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
•
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
•
Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word, email).
