We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive individual to join our team at our Brown & Church location in Pilot Mountain, NC. Brown & Church, a division of Tom James Company, is an American-made neckwear company that produces ties, bow ties, and pocket squares by hand in North Carolina. About the role
We are seeking a Hand Seamstress team member to support our various hand sew operations. Ideal candidate will consistently contribute to the overall excellence that will meet or exceed customer and team objectives. This person should enjoy working in a production environment, independently, as well as working with other associates in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation to accomplish goals.
Responsibilities
•
Accurately follow work orders to meet customer / product specifications
•
Focus on precision first and then pace
•
Quality check work for neat seems and correct stitching
•
Ability to identify flaws/variations in different patterns and color identification
•
Must be able to handle materials such as cotton, silk, viscose, wool, nylon, etc.
•
Work with team members to coordinate work flow and resolve issues
•
Keep work area tidy
