Maintains electrical distribution, motors, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), and related systems in a refinery environment to support safe, reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities:
•
Configure, commission, and troubleshoot instruments such as pressure transmitters, level transmitters, flow meters, etc.
•
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and controls.
•
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
•
Support installations and upgrades, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and instrumentation interfaces.
•
Document work and ensure compliance with safe electrical practices.
•
Adhere to regulatory expectations including OSHA 29 CFR 1910 standards, Process Safety Management (PSM) (29 CFR 1910.119), Management of Change (MOC), and environmental compliance programs.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
Knowledge & Technical Skills:
•
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical distribution, motor controls, and maintenance practices.
•
Proficiency in configuring, commissioning, and troubleshooting instruments (pressure/level transmitters, flow meters, etc.) as well as electrical equipment and controls (MCCs, motors, etc.).
•
Familiarity with safe electrical work practices and documentation.
•
API/ASME code familiarity and inspection/quality certifications (Preferred).
