SUMMARY
The Guest Services Agent is responsible for greeting the guest with a warm and sincere welcome.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job duties include, although are not limited to:
•
Welcoming guests to the hotel and ensuring a pleasant arrival and departure
•
Directing guests and vehicles on the front drive
•
Parking and retrieving guest and hotel vehicles
•
Being knowledgeable about hotel rooms, services and features and relaying information to guests
•
Assisting with luggage and doing hotel and room orientations
•
Assisting with guest transport throughout the resort
•
Cleaning and maintaining luggage and golf carts to hotel standards
•
Delivering amenities and other items to guest rooms
•
Following hotel guidelines and talking points.
•
Driving hotel vehicles off property short distances for guest drop-offs and pick-ups or as requested for item retrievals.
•
Operating the associate shuttle service during peak periods when off-site parking is necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS

College Degree preferred.
•
Minimum of two years’ experience in a luxury hotel preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, approximately six hours. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing. Must be able to lift and carry 60 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. frequently. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and luggage handling tasks. This position requires significant time spent in an outdoor environment.
The pay scale* for this position is $19.20.
*The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
*Associates who work between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., and whose shifts include at least 50% of hours within that time frame, will receive an additional $1.50 per hour
