About the role
The Information Technology Manager supports the Navy by leading enterprise IT operations, engineering, and cybersecurity activities across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role is responsible for strategic planning, service delivery, system reliability, and compliance with DoD and Navy cybersecurity requirements.
Essential Functions:
•
Lead enterprise IT operations, including infrastructure, network, and system services supporting NETTN environments.
•
Oversee system availability, performance, and capacity planning across distributed CONUS and OCONUS environments.
•
Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF, STIGs, and Navy directives.
•
Direct implementation of IT service management (ITSM) practices aligned with ITIL frameworks.
•
Manage and coordinate incident response, problem management, and change management activities.
•
Provide leadership and oversight to IT staff, including mentoring, performance management, and workforce planning.
•
Support system engineering and integration efforts to ensure secure and scalable architectures.
•
Coordinate with Government stakeholders, program leadership, and technical teams to align IT services with mission objectives.
•
Oversee audits, inspections, and accreditation activities, including ATO support.
•
Other duties as assigned or required.
