Master’s degree, preferably in the life sciences, health sciences, or social sciences are deemed as assets. Completion of professional development courses on research, project management, finances, and software programs to carry out work. Recent related experience in a collaborative, interdisciplinary research environment, including an understanding of research methodology and medical terminology. Medium to high degree of computer literacy, including familiarity with UBC Library; Microsoft Office word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, database management, C&W Electronic Health Record, and internet resource use. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. Ability to independently prioritize and organize workload.
