Job Description
Role: VFD Technician
We are looking for a Senior VFD technician to install and repair VFD systems for our clients in the NY/NJ area. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of VFD units out in the field. You will also be required to respond to equipment breakdowns, conduct on-site repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and advise on equipment upgrades. Responsibilities:
•
Troubleshoot, start-up, commission and verify proper functionality of multiple brands of VFD’s.
•
Work with management to run an efficient service department through productive staffing, customer retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives.
•
Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
•
Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize callbacks
•
Keep management and customer informed of job progress and issues
•
Provide valid options for additional work and service based on established protocols
•
Prioritize following safety procedures and maintain a constant awareness of personal safety and the safety of others.

Estimated Salary: $45 - $64 hourly, with flexibility based on experience and skills.
