Job Description:
Overview:
This position oversees and manages land surveying projects of varying complexity while mentoring junior staff and maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
•
Lead, supervise, and coordinate activities of field and office staff assigned to complex land surveying projects.
•
Collaborate with engineering staff, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
•
Mentor and provide technical guidance to Survey Technicians and SITs.
•
Manage project schedules and ensure alignment with budgets and client expectations.
•
Perform advanced calculations, prepare field packages, and delegate tasks to team members.
•
Process and review acquired field data, ensuring accuracy in plats of survey and Metes and Bounds descriptions.
•
Conduct quality control reviews of work prepared by other team members.
•
Resolve challenging property boundaries and oversee related construction issues.
•
Sign and seal completed survey deliverables, including drawings, legal descriptions, and reports.
Qualifications:
