Residential Electrician Duties:
•
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on residential electrical systems.
•
Inspect wiring, panels, devices, and grounding to identify hazards and code violations.
•
Assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring, fixtures, and electrical components using standard tools and methods.
•
Plan and interpret layouts for wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specs and local electrical codes.
•
Replace outdated or unsafe wiring systems and upgrade circuits to meet modern electrical demands.
Residential Electrician Requirements:
•
Journeyman’s or residential license REQUIRED
•
Progressive electrical experience
•
Experience in residential repair and install
•
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
•
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
•
Able to handle physical workload
