Lead Software Engineer
Requirements
•
8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on application security, cloud security, and distributed systems.
•
Strong programming expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and modern software design principles, including object-oriented design, design patterns, and microservices architecture.
•
Extensive experience with databases and data platforms such as Oracle, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and other large-scale data stores.
•
Hands-on experience designing and building scalable APIs, backend services, platforms, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) from ideation through production deployment.
•
Strong experience with cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
•
Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka.
•
Experience leading technical design discussions, driving architectural decisions, and mentoring engineering teams.
•
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI-powered application development.
•
Experience integrating AI services and frameworks such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Vector Databases, and Agentic AI platforms.
•
Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent technologies to improve engineering productivity and code quality.

Key Responsibilities
•
Lead the design and development of secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems and cloud-native applications.
•
Define and drive architectural best practices across microservices, APIs, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
•
Evaluate, prototype, and implement AI-powered capabilities, including LLM-based applications and agentic workflows.
•
Lead technical investigations, proof-of-concepts, and innovation initiatives aligned with business and product goals.
•
Mentor and guide engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
•
Partner with product, security, and platform teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.
•
Drive operational excellence, observability, performance optimization, and production stability across services.
