About the role
Do you live and breathe live sports? Amazon’s Prime Video Live Sports team is looking for a Coordinating Producer to own the production experience across our LATAM live sports properties.
As our LATAM rights portfolio expands across soccer and NBA properties, we need a dedicated editorial and production lead in the region. You will be the first point of contact for daily operational delivery, working closely with our EU and LATAM production teams to ensure every broadcast meets a high bar for quality and consistency. Our team is purpose-built around a growing, multi-sport live portfolio, and we are actively building the systems, relationships, and workflows that will scale with us. This is a rare opportunity to get in early and help shape how live sports production operates across an entire region. If you are a resourceful, adaptable producer who wants to build something meaningful, we want to talk to you.
Responsibilities
Key job responsibilities
•
Oversee all LATAM Live Sports production, ensuring quality and consistency across properties. Lead property launches alongside Production Operations, contribute to budget discussions, align spend with editorial goals, and partner with Technical Operations for broadcast delivery.
•
Act as editorial lead across the LATAM portfolio, building content strategy with EU and LATAM editorial leads. Use local knowledge, viewership data, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvements and recommend programming changes that enhance the customer experience.
•
Maintain oversight of on-screen talent line-ups, ensuring vendors contract, schedule, and coordinate talent to a high standard. Provide clear deliverables for production vendors and lead regular syncs to guide editorial execution and provide timely feedback.
•
Partner with the LATAM business lead to oversee the full production portfolio, representing production in local-territory discussions. Collaborate with Marketing and Advertising Sales to operationalize integrations, balancing editorial quality with promotional activities.
•
Own daily operational delivery, lead property syncs, and attend on-site and studio productions to provide vendor support. Troubleshoot editorial and operational issues during live broadcasts, providing timely resolution and post-event escalation as needed.
A day in the life
Your day might begin with a pre-production call reviewing rundowns and talent schedules for an upcoming match broadcast. By midday, you are on-site or in a studio working directly with vendors to make sure editorial standards are met during a live production. In the afternoon, you join a sync with Marketing and Advertising Sales to align on upcoming integrations, then close out the day reviewing performance metrics and preparing feedback for your production partners.
