About the role
1st shift **4 am - 12 pm**
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
•
Operate equipment to cut, measure and/or wrap rolls of broadloom carpet or vinyl
•
Inspect rolls for processing (cut tape, load core, pull tickets).
•
Process roll into AS400 and Alcon system by using hand-held scan gun.
•
Inspect product for defects, damage, correct width and color/style and make necessary quality decisions.
•
Be able to follow system instructions for reverse rolls
•
Must understand quality standards and color codes
•
Print and apply tickets and labels for identifications purposes.
•
Observe operations of the equipment to detect malfunctions.
•
Manually tape small carpet cut rolls. Replace blades in handheld safety knives.
•
Other duties as assigned by supervision.
