About the role
Our mission is to let businesses of all sizes build truly custom software, without writing code. As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll be a key driver of this mission, working across both the frontend and backend to deliver an exceptional product experience. You’ll shape our AI Co-Builder, APIs, workflow engine, data models, and user interfaces, ensuring performance, reliability, and beautiful UX for customers.

This is a unique opportunity to own entire features in a fast-growing SaaS company and help shape the future of how software is made. You’ll be joining a team of 9 engineers managing infrastructure that powers thousands of custom business applications worldwide
What You’ll Be Doing
•
Building end-to-end features across our stack: backend services, GraphQL APIs, and React-based UI
•
Advancing the capabilities of Nola, our AI Co-Builder, leveraging the latest improvements from frontier models
•
Designing and improving reusable React components and design systems that power Noloco’s app builder experience
•
Scaling our backend systems and APIs to handle growing customer demand
•
Collaborating with Product and Design to deliver intuitive, polished user experiences
•
Improving analytics, observability, monitoring, and alerting across the stack
•
Driving technical discussions and mentoring other engineers to raise the bar
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
•
Adding new components or improving existing ones to the Noloco App Builder
•
Adding more tools/logic to our AI Co-Builder so users can interact with the Noloco platform through chat, or MCP
•
Extending our native data tables with new field types, UX improvements, and performance enhancements
•
Building integrations with external data sources and APIs to open up new workflows
•
Extending Noloco’s workflows and automations to let customers connect and automate their tools
•
Owning full-stack performance: optimizing queries and frontend rendering
•
Monitoring and improving end-user experience from first click to final API call
We’d Love to Hear From You If You Have:
•
Significant experience (4+ years) working as a full stack engineer on complex web applications
•
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills across Node.js and React.js
•
Experience designing clean, scalable APIs (GraphQL experience a plus)
•
Experience building and improving AI powered agents, workflows and user-experiences
•
Solid understanding of frontend performance, state management, and design systems
•
A product mindset — you care about the user experience, not just shipping code
•
Comfortable working without PM overhead; you want to help to shape the problem, not just implement a spec
•
Experience at a startup or a company with a genuinely high engineering bar

Frontend: React.js, Tailwind, ShadCN UI
•
Models: A mix of OpenAI and Anthropic models
•
APIs: Internal Node GraphQL & REST APIs, dynamic GraphQL APIs

Infrastructure: AWS ECS, Lambdas, monitored with Grafana & Sentry
•
Tools: GitHub, Linear, Slack
•
Harnesses: We mostly use Claude Code, but encourage you to use the best setup for you

Where You’ll Work
Remote from Dublin 🇮🇪 or hybrid from Barcelona 🇪🇸.
We’re remote-first but meet regularly in person, including at least one annual offsite. We’re building out our engineering team across Barcelona and Ireland, and are open to either location.
