People Solutions Specialist – HR Systems and Change
About the role
Luton | Full-time | Hybrid
Benefits
20% bonus • 7% pension • Staff travel benefits
We support hybrid working, and you’ll spend 60% of your time each month in the office.
This role is a 15 month fixed term contract.
You turn complex people system needs into clear, practical changes that work for colleagues.
You’re analytical, organised and curious, with the confidence to ask the right questions, spot what really needs fixing and bring people with you through change.
The opportunity
As People Solutions Specialist, you’ll provide analytical, delivery and operational support across People Solutions, helping translate business needs into system and process improvements.
Working with stakeholders across People, Payroll, Technology and the wider business, you’ll gather requirements, support delivery, coordinate testing and help make sure changes are ready to land smoothly.
“This role suits someone who enjoys getting underneath a problem, bringing structure to complexity and making change easier for people. If you’re curious, thorough and good at turning conversations into clear solutions, you’ll make a real difference here.”
easyJet, People Solutions Team
The team & culture
You’ll work closely with colleagues across People, Payroll and Technology, connecting different perspectives and helping teams reach practical, joined up solutions.
You’ll be part of an environment that values collaboration, clear communication and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on making systems and processes accurate and user friendly.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work with stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements, facilitating conversations and workshops to understand the real need and desired outcome.
You’ll support People system enhancements and process improvements, translating requirements into practical solutions and helping with operational cases and resolution activity when needed.
You’ll coordinate User Acceptance Testing, track defects and issues through testing and hypercare, and help ensure delivered changes meet agreed requirements and quality standards. You’ll also create clear process documentation, knowledge articles, user guidance and training materials.
What we’re looking for
You’ll bring experience of gathering and documenting business requirements, supporting system, process or operational improvements, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills are important, alongside excellent stakeholder communication, solid organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing detail.
Nice to have
Experience in People, HR, Payroll or Shared Services, knowledge of Workday or similar HR systems, process mapping, continuous improvement or project delivery would be useful rather than essential. You’ll be collaborative, adaptable and focused on creating changes that work well for the people using them.

Competitive base salary + up to 20% bonus
7% employer pension contribution
Private medical insurance
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Annual credit towards an easyJet holiday
Excellent staff travel benefits
Flexible benefits package including share schemes
