About the role
We are currently recruiting am experienced Warehouse Specialist working within in our GMP Warehouse based in Milton Park, Abingdon, UK.
Role: GMP Warehouse Specialist
Role Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. 7am-4pm, Monday - Friday.
Salary: £35,000**,** plus excellent benefits package
Location: Milton Park, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, UK

Key Responsibilities will include
•
To ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner and that all equipment and racking is regularly checked and complies with Safety Legislation
•
The effective and efficient receipt of goods through a centralised receipting location
•
Managing GMP materials (raw materials and consumables) through receipt, sampling and location transfer
•
Loading and unloading vehicles (manually and using FLT)
•
General warehouse duties
•
Assist in training and continuous improvement
•
Assist in updating IOP / SOP documents for the warehouse
•
Putaway of various GMP and non GMP materials into racking and specialised storage locations
•
Ordering and controlling the stock of chemicals and consumables for the production team and labs
•
Re-distribution of deliveries and control of satellite stores where appropriate, including distribution of materials (chemicals and consumables) between Aptuit buildings using the company vehicle
•
Waste handling and sorting for the site, including documentation in accordance with regulations
•
Controlled drug / ethanol waste destruction
•
Maintain Good Housekeeping in the warehouse and assist with 5S implementation within the department.
Essential Knowledge & Skills
