About the role
Are you an experienced veterinarian looking for 2-3 shifts a week within a team of passionate veterinary professionals, who thrive on communication, compassion, organisation, teamwork and of course, a great sense of humour?
Work in a clinic that has been purpose built and equipped with optimal veterinary care in mind, with all the bells and whistles!
Located in the beautiful Lake Macquarie region, only 10 minutes from the nearest beach, with no afterhours and minimal overtime, work life balance is front and centre!
Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced part-time veterinarian to join our team at Petstock Vet Bennetts Green, for 2-3 shifts a week.
Happy to consider permanent or casual positions, depending on candidate.
At Bennetts Green we value a high standard of patient care and working together closely as a team, making sure to celebrate each other along the way.
We have a steady work load, offering 30 minute consultations and developing strong relationships with our clients.
Whilst referral services are available within an hour, we enjoy working up our cases and supporting our clients.
Our clinic is only 3 years old, purpose built and maintained to a clean and organised standard.
The role requires that you:
•
Are comfortable working as sole charge veterinarian.
•
Are available to work 2-3 shifts a week (flexible on days)
•
Promote excellent clinical skills.
•
Have great communication skills and attention to detail.
•
Build relationships and deliver high customer service standards.
•
Enjoy working with a professional but fun team.
•
Contribute to our positive team culture. Bonus points for a great sense of humour.
•
Are willing to take on role of superintendent veterinarian (responsible for balancing S8’s and must be present in clinic minimum 1 day every week).

A purpose-built, well-maintained clinic with IDEXX pathology machines, ultrasound, digital radiographs, dental radiographs and a full surgical suite.

A team of experienced, hands-on and capable veterinary nurses to support you and your patients.

No after hours, public holidays/Sundays, or on call roster.

For this position you must hold a relevant Veterinary Science degree from an accredited university and be registered with relevant state Veterinary Board.
