Position Summary
Janitorial I assists Janitorial II in maintaining the general cleanliness and upkeep of the building common areas. This position must also follow safety precautions to prevent product contamination and injuries to self or others while maintaining compliance with cGMP protocols.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
•
Adhere to safety protocols at all times and report facility or safety incidents to management.
•
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
•
Keeps facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
•
Vacuums, sweeps, buffs and mops floors.
•
Cleans and stocks restrooms.
•
Restock cleaning supply closets.
•
Cleans up spills with appropriate equipment.
•
Notifies managers of necessary repairs.
•
Collects and disposes of trash.
•
Assists guests when necessary.
•
Properly cleans upholstered furniture.
•
Additional duties as assigned.
Technical Skills Required
•

Frequent exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, heavy machinery, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, electrical current, chemicals, and vibrations.
