Job Description:
The Pharmacy Technician supports the Urology practices by providing clinical support to patients and nursing staff in accordance with established professional standards. Travel to northern Astera Urology locations as needed.
Responsibilities:
•
Ensure and maintain dispensing area, includes refrigerator temperature log and cleanliness of work area such as counters, hood, and stock mixing area.
•
Maintain nucleus system and medication inventory through sign out, return, and restock functions includes nucleus reports. Order medications calculate vials needed and return medications when applicable to ensure proper inventory pars.
•
Prepare labels, calculate volume required to prepare dose, calculate infusion rate, be familiar with regimen name, frequency, and cycle number. Compound therapies following mixing guidelines.

Pay Range: $24/hr - $39/hr
