Vizient is seeking a Vice President of Venture Delivery to lead the creation and validation of new technology-enabled solutions within Spend Management as part of Vizient’s Research & Development team.
Sitting within the Data & Digital business unit, this executive will work in direct partnership with Spend Management and Product leadership to identify high-value market opportunities and translate them into differentiated products that improve financial and operational performance for healthcare organizations.
The Vice President will have end-to-end accountability for taking high-potential opportunities from initial thesis through customer discovery, development, pilot execution, and validation of product-market fit. They will be responsible for proving that a meaningful customer problem exists, that Vizient can solve it in a differentiated way, and that the resulting product has a credible path to commercial and operational scale. The role will mobilize capabilities across product, technology, data, artificial intelligence, design, commercial, and domain teams to deliver measurable customer outcomes and create new sources of enterprise growth.
This role requires the ownership and judgment to build new businesses in conditions of uncertainty, combined with the collaboration and influence to succeed within a complex enterprise. They will serve as the integrating leader for the venture, aligning stakeholders around a shared vision, creating clarity in ambiguity, and ensuring that product, market, customer, technical, and business decisions are made as part of one cohesive Vizient strategy.
