We’ve cracked challenges which no other company in this field dared to take on. From enabling feature parity across mobile, tablet and desktop while providing a tailored experience for each platform, to providing seamless and blazing fast sync across all devices, while being always available even without an internet connection. You can also use Craft as local-only software, or benefit from our cloud sync and one-click sharing options, which ensure Craft users have true ownership of their work and data through our comprehensive and deep export capabilities.
These are the important foundations we continue to build upon. Building them wasn’t easy and took significant effort from our team. Nonetheless we’ve been pushing forward with addressing the requests of our community.
How we work & what we value
We’re looking for individuals who share this vision and are willing to go the extra mile in order to achieve this.
The majority of our team is based in Budapest, Hungary, with team members scattered around Europe. Every 6-weeks, we meet as a whole, in Budapest, Hungary to have 4-days of face-to-face time, intensive collaboration and casual team buildings. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 🌏️

The role in a nutshell
We’re looking for a Product Designer who thrives at the intersection of design, strategy, and craft. This isn’t a traditional designer role: it’s about problem framing, system thinking, and building product experiences our users genuinely love.
At Craft, we’re a small team holding ourselves to a world-class bar. We use all the necessary tools to move fast and free up time for the work that actually matters: deeply understanding our users and shaping experiences worth their trust. If that’s the kind of work you want to do, we want to hear from you.
What you’ll do
Strategic design and problem framing
•
Define the right problems to solve, not just create solutions. With so many possible directions, your role is to frame the problems worth solving and guide where we go
•
Think in systems, considering how features work together holistically rather than in isolation
•
Connect user needs with business objectives, serving as the bridge between what users need and what the business requires
•
Make judgment calls under pressure, knowing when something is genuinely good and when it needs more time
Hands-on execution
•
Move from concept to testable prototype quickly, so more of your time goes into the creative and strategic decisions
•
Use AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, and others) to rapidly prototype, iterate, and validate concepts
•
Validate and refine outputs from any source, applying your taste and judgment to ensure quality

Skills and experience
•
Strong foundation in product design fundamentals: user research, interaction design, visual design, prototyping
•
Comfort with AI tools: show us personal projects or work you’ve done with them so we can see how you think with them
•
System thinking mindset: you naturally consider edge cases, various user states, and how components work together
•
Communication skills: you can articulate design decisions, give and receive feedback constructively, and work transparently
