We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Wholesale Data Management & Analytics Platform, where you’ll help shape the way data is managed, governed, and delivered across our global Wholesale Banking organization. Role Summary
As a Business Analyst, you’ll be part of the Tribe Wholesale Data Management, working closely with Product Owners, Data Owners, Data Stewards, and stakeholders across international teams. You’ll translate business needs into actionable requirements, support data-driven decision-making, and help ensure data is accurate, timely, complete, and ready for business consumption.
You’ll play a key role in connecting business objectives with data management capabilities while supporting agile delivery and continuous improvement initiatives across the platform.
About the Team
The Wholesale Data Management Tribe plays a critical role in delivering ING’s Think Forward Strategy. The team is responsible for ensuring that Wholesale Banking data is trustworthy, fit for purpose, and supported by modern data architecture and infrastructure. The Manila hub is an important part of ING’s global operating model, working closely with colleagues across multiple locations to drive data excellence and innovation.
What You’ll Do
•
Translate business requirements into clear user stories and backlog items.
•
Collaborate with stakeholders, Data Owners, and Data Stewards to understand and prioritize data needs.
•
Support data analysis and investigation of operational issues.
•
Contribute to roadmap development and continuous improvement initiatives.
•
Ensure product backlog visibility, transparency, and alignment with business objectives.
•
Provide guidance on priorities, operational needs, and business requirements.
•
Partner with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to deliver optimal outcomes.
•
Help strengthen data governance, analytics capabilities, and data quality across Wholesale Banking.
Required Skills & Experience
•
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
•
Experience working in a data-driven and technology-enabled environment.
•
Knowledge of Data Management and Analytics.
•
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•
Experience working in Agile environments.
•
Understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, Data Architecture, Data Mapping, and Data Profiling.
•
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
•
Experience working within global or international organizations.
Nice to Have
•
Banking or Financial Services experience.
•
Knowledge of Data Lake concepts.
•
Understanding of ETL processes.
•
Experience with project portfolio management processes.
