Windward Academy is a training program consisting of supervised, classroom, and online training to set you up for success as a new caregiver!
Responsibilities
•
Learn how to provide essential caregiving duties including: Engaging activities for elderly socialization, Bathing, Dressing, Toileting, Transferring, Assisting with walking, Light Housekeeping, Companionship, Errands and Appointments, Managing Dementia and Alzheimer’s Related Behaviors.
This training program is held Mon-Fri November 16th-20th Hours are typically between 8:30a-5p, totaling 26-29 hours of paid training.

Requirements

You are dependable, reliable, and an efficient problem solver
•
Valid Driver’s License, Auto Insurance and Clean Driving Record, Must feel comfortable driving clients in your vehicle

Ability to Lift, Push or Pull up to 40 lbs Unassisted
•
Ability to pass Home Care Services Bureau Live Scan background check and be free of TB - We will assist you in the application and Live Scan process
