The Roles …
Lead Teachers
You’re the heartbeat of the classroom. You’ll design engaging days using our P.L.A.N. curriculum, build real relationships with your students, and set the tone for a safe, joyful, well-run room, whether you’re guiding sweet babies, curious Twos through their first big discoveries, or getting PreK students ready for kindergarten. You’ll also help set the standard for what a Georgetown Hill classroom looks like in Woodley Gardens.
Responsibilities
What you’ll do:

Plan and lead daily activities using our P.L.A.N. curriculum, tailored to the age groups
•
Build strong, trusting bonds with students and their families
•
Own classroom management, creating a consistent, positive environment for kids and staff alike
•
Support each child’s physical, social-emotional, and developmental growth
•
Communicate clearly and warmly with families, colleagues, and your community
Requirements
You’ll bring:
•
3–5 years of relevant preschool classroom experience
•
A bachelor’s degree (preferably in education). You may also need an MSDE 90hr Preschool Certificate or CDA Certification with Preschool Endorsement (minimum)

Assistant Teachers
You’re the extra set of hands, eyes, and hugs every classroom needs. This is a great fit if you’re supporting a lead teacher, floating between classrooms, or building experience toward leading your own room.
What you’ll do:
•
Support the Lead Teacher in bringing our P.L.A.N. curriculum to life
•
Help build a safe, nurturing space where kids feel secure and loved
•
Jump in wherever needed, floating between classrooms as our growing campus needs
•
Support each child’s day-to-day needs with patience and care
•
Bring positive energy to your team, your students, and their families
You’ll bring:
•
1–3 years of preschool experience
•
MSDE 90hr Preschool Certificate or CDA Certification with Preschool Endorsement (minimum)
•
A team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
•
Good communication skills and a calm, friendly presence
•

Where You’ll Work
📍 Woodley Gardens/Rockville — Tucked into the wooded neighborhood, right off 270 and near Montgomery College, serving families in Rockville and the surrounding neighborhoods
Pay
Lead Teacher: $22.00–$25.00/hour
Assistant Teacher/Aide: $18.00–$22.00/hour

Per Maryland State Department of Education Office of Child Care regulations, all applicants must pass a state and federal background check as a condition of employment.
