About the role
Job Summary:
The Property Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and attractiveness of all public areas within the unit. In addition, the Property Attendant will serve as an ambassador for all the great offerings of the area to the guests they will frequently encounter over the course of their duties, all the while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude.
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•
Ensure assigned areas are clean and neat as directed by management.
•
Continually clean ash urns.
•
Clean bathhouses and restrooms, and picnic areas in assigned areas.
•
Address, clean, and empty trash receptacles, picnic tables, and debris throughout the unit.
•
Maintain pristine common areas in employee housing.
•
Prepare and clean individual employee housing units, as needed.
•
Assist with the housekeeping of houseboats and eco-tents.
•
Other duties as assigned.
SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
•
Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
•
Strong customer service abilities: actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
•
People oriented, strong communication/public speaking skills.
•
Strong work ethic and team-oriented skills are a must.
•
Must adhere to company appearance and uniform standards.
•
Valid Driver’s License
•
Strong sanitation habits and attention to detail.
•
Ability to stay on task independently without constant direction and supervision.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
•
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit. Bend, lift up to 50lbs, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
•
Operating company vehicles, including golf carts and gators, to travel throughout the property.
•
Reading and writing work-related documents in English.
•
Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English.
•
Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.
