Job Description
We have an immediate need for a DevOps engineer for a customer in Chantilly, Virginia.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
•
Develop and/or modify custom applications and scripts implemented across multiple platforms
•
Maintain custom software applications and services
•
Recommend and implement improvements to existing software solutions
•
Maintain system architecture to ensure versatility and consistency across multiple platforms
•
Provide input to software configuration and system documentation, improvements to capabilities, build roadmaps, and update software as required
•
Attend meetings and reviews
•
Communicate with internal team members across multiple areas, the program manager, and customer team members
•
Communicate with external parties such as mission partners and vendors as required
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
•
Active TS/SCI w/polygraph
•
Demonstrated custom development experience using Linux based servers and appliances
•
Demonstrated 3+ years of experience using Rust and/or Python to develop applications and services.
•
Experience with Rust strongly preferred; candidates with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new languages will also be considered
