As a strategic and operational planner, you’ll bring your unique experience and skills including leadership, joint operations planning and the military decision-making process, information management, knowledge management, Army data platforms and integrated tools. You’ll use your skills and expertise to serve as the primary planner for EOD current operations, responsible for monitoring and analyzing the operational environment to provide real-time situational awareness to leadership. Develop, coordinate, and disseminate operational plans, orders (OPORDs), and fragmentary orders (FRAGOs) related to EOD missions and threat countermeasures. Apply mastery of the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) to support crisis action planning and the rapid development of courses of action (COAs). Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all ongoing EOD operations, force distribution, and asset availability within the area of responsibility (AOR) to inform the current operating picture. Brief senior leadership daily on the status of current operations, providing recommendations and analysis to support decision-making. Consolidate and synthesize information into daily briefings and updates for senior leader review. Manage the flow of operational information and perform essential data entry and analysis using programs of record, such as MAVEN and other designated systems, to support threat integration and analysis. Develop and maintain internal procedures for managing operational data, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility of information products. Serve as an Information Management Officer (IMO), ensuring the proper function, security, and maintenance of information systems and databases that support CUOPS.
