The Center encourages applications from assistant professors in the early stages of their careers, as well as from scholars who have recently completed their doctorates.

Postdoctoral Fellows are not required to teach or take on administrative responsibilities. They are, however, expected to reside in Pittsburgh, undertake full-time research in an office at the Center, and participate in the Center’s intellectual life by attending and giving talks and contributing to discussion groups.
