The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for planning, organizing and directing all financial aspects of IHI and its affiliates, as well as collaborating with and assisting the Chief Operations Officer with the strategic planning of the Center. The organization is experiencing continued growth and development of new programs and services while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, patient access, and financial stewardship.
The CFO serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and will play a central role in shaping organizational strategy, overseeing financial operations, guiding investments and risk management, supporting federal and state program compliance, and ensuring the financial resources necessary to sustain and expand the organization’s mission. The ideal Chief Financial Officer will be a strategic and operational finance executive who combines deep healthcare financial expertise with a collaborative leadership style. This individual will bring at least ten years of progressive healthcare and nonprofit financial leadership experience, including significant responsibility for revenue cycle management, reimbursement strategy, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. A CPA and accomplished business partner, the successful candidate will be equally comfortable presenting complex financial matters to the Board of Directors and Finance Committee as they are working alongside operational and clinical leaders to evaluate new programs, improve organizational performance, and advance the long-term sustainability of the organization. The ideal executive will be recognized for developing high-performing teams, exercising sound judgment, maintaining rigorous compliance standards, and translating financial data into clear, actionable business insights.
