About the role
A Sales Trainer is a dynamic online facilitator responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive sales training programs for Virtual Assistants. This role focuses on synthesizing high-level sales methodologies with AI integration to equip VAs with modern sales strategies, consultative selling techniques, and AI-powered tools that enhance productivity and client outcomes. The Sales Trainer ensures that trainees are fully prepared to represent clients confidently and effectively before deployment.
TASKS:
Responsibilities
•
Design, develop, and deliver engaging virtual sales training programs for Virtual Assistants.
•
Teach advanced sales methodologies, including consultative selling, objection handling, negotiation, rapport building, and closing techniques.
•
Integrate AI-powered tools and workflows into sales training to improve efficiency, research, communication, and overall sales performance.
•
Conduct live virtual classes, workshops, role-playing sessions, and practical exercises.
•
Manage virtual classrooms to foster engagement, participation, and accountability.
•
Monitor trainee performance through assessments, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
•
Provide individualized coaching and actionable feedback to improve sales competency.
•
Identify training needs and continuously enhance training content based on industry trends, client requirements, and business objectives.
•
Create, maintain, and update sales training materials, job aids, assessments, and learning resources.
•
Reinforce company policies, client expectations, and sales best practices throughout the training process. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Operations, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure training aligns with operational goals.
•
Perform administrative responsibilities related to the learning management system (LMS), onboarding, offboarding, attendance tracking, and training documentation.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
•
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Sales Trainer, Sales Coach, or in a similar sales training role.
•
Proven experience training individuals or teams on modern sales methodologies and best practices.
•
Strong understanding of consultative selling, solution selling, objection handling, negotiation, and closing strategies.
•
Experience incorporating AI tools into sales processes and training programs to improve productivity and effectiveness.
•
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
•
Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills in a virtual learning environment.
•
Proficient in Google Workspace, Zoom, and other virtual collaboration platforms.
•
Highly organized with strong planning, time management, and documentation skills.
•
Ability to simplify complex sales concepts into engaging and practical learning experiences.
•
Strong analytical and performance coaching skills with the ability to evaluate trainee progress and recommend development plans.
