Who are you?
About the role
We are seeking a Solution Engineer to join the Ema team in India. This is a hybrid role, preferably based in Bangalore. As a Solution Engineer, you will work on cutting-edge GenAI challenges for Fortune 500 companies and build Proofs of Concept for customers. You will work with sales, product, and engineering teams to turn customer requirements into working solutions that run on the customer’s own data and applications. The ideal candidate is hands-on and customer-facing, starts from the customer’s problem rather than the product feature, and is comfortable with data structures, data engineering, APIs, and Python. Most importantly, you are excited to be part of a mission-oriented, fast-paced, high-growth startup that can create a lasting impact.
You will:
•
Analyse customer requirements and translate them into a clear solution approach
•
Deliver tailored demos that show how Ema’s AI applications solve the customer’s problem
•
Build new AI application Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and pilots for customers
•
Integrate with customers’ data and applications, working with APIs and using Python for data transformation
•
Work with engineering and product to resolve technical blockers in live customer work
•
Work effectively with sales, product, and engineering teams
•
Document solution designs, integrations, and lessons learned so others can reuse them
Ideally, you’d have:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
•
2–5 years of relevant work experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Implementation Engineer
