Job Title
CNC Set-Up IResponsible for performing basic CNC Machine set-up and operation by loading preset CNC programs, making minor approved adjustments, and producing acceptable product in accordance with work instructions, quality requirements, and established manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Roles & Reponsibilities:
•
Perform basic CNC machine set-up function by loading preset CNC programs and making minor, approved adjustments to support proper machine operation.
•
Operate CNC manufacturing equipment to produce acceptable product according to work instructions, set-up documentation, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
•
Perform basic in-process inspection using established methods; record results and notify appropriate personnel of defects, dimensional concerns, or process deviations.
•
Perform basic machine adjustments such as off-sets or taper adjustments and basic preventative maintenance such as changing coolants, filters, lubricants, and other routine machine-care items.
•
Stack and transport product via hand-truck, pallet jack, forklift, crane, or hoist.
•
Clean work area, machines, tools and equipment.
