About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced and talented Senior Appian Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex solutions using the Appian low-code platform. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our projects, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet and exceed business requirements.
Responsibilities
1.
Provide technical leadership and guidance in designing and implementing Appian-based solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and best practices.
2.
Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand intricate business needs and architect innovative and scalable Appian solutions.
3.
Leverage your deep expertise in the Appian platform to create complex process models, sophisticated user interfaces, intricate rules, and data structures that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
4.
Design and implement advanced integrations with external systems using a variety of integration methods, such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, and custom connectors.
5.
Identify opportunities for performance optimization and lead efforts to enhance the efficiency and responsiveness of Appian applications.
6.
Guide and mentor junior developers by providing technical insights, code reviews, and sharing best practices to foster their growth and development.
7.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, architects, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
8.
Lead comprehensive testing efforts to ensure the reliability, security, and quality of developed solutions.
9.
Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.
10.
Stay at the forefront of Appian platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to propose and implement innovative solutions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
1.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
2.
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing solutions using the Appian platform.
3.
Technical Skills:
•
Expert-level proficiency in the Appian low-code platform, including advanced process design, rule creation, interface customization, and data modeling.
