West Monroe is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Mergers & Acquisitions practice focused on clients in the Consumer & Industrial Products sector. Our team partners with private equity sponsors and strategic clients across the deal lifecycle, helping them evaluate investments, understand operational and technology implications, and identify opportunities to create value. As a Senior Manager, you will lead complex transaction advisory and post-close engagements, working directly with investment professionals, executives, and portfolio company leaders. You will have the opportunity to take on a broad range of M&A work, lead client relationships from the front, and bring your perspective to the decisions that matter most.
What You Will Do
Client Delivery
•
Lead complex buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements for private equity and corporate clients across Consumer & Industrial Products.
•
Lead operational, technology, software, and other functional diligence workstreams, evaluating the capabilities, risks, performance drivers, and opportunities that matter to an investment decision.
•
Partner directly with investment professionals, executives, and portfolio company leaders to assess investment theses, challenge assumptions, and develop clear perspectives on transaction risks and opportunities.
•
Translate complex findings into concise, executive-level recommendations and help clients understand the implications for transaction strategy, priorities, and value.
•
Own engagement delivery from strategy through completion, including scope, economics, staffing, quality, risk, and client relationships.
•
Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations for clients, exercising sound judgment in evaluating outputs.
•
Apply AI technologies (e.g., generative AI, automation tools, data models) to enhance insights, improve delivery efficiency, and elevate the quality of client outcomes.
Business Development
•
Build trusted relationships with private equity sponsors, investment professionals, corporate development leaders, and executives and identify opportunities across existing and prospective accounts.
•
Lead pursuits, shape solutions, develop proposals, and bring differentiated M&A and Consumer & Industrial Products perspectives to clients.
•
Help expand West Monroe’s presence in the C&IP M&A market through client relationships, industry activity, and thought leadership.
Practice Development
•
Help shape and grow West Monroe’s C&IP M&A capabilities, methodologies, and intellectual capital.
•
Coach and develop consultants and help build the next generation of M&A leaders.
•
Contribute to recruiting, thought leadership, and initiatives that strengthen the team and practice.
