Due to continued growth, our Nuclear Service Group is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer for our Baton Rouge, LA or Kennesaw, GA Office.
Responsibilities (including but are not limited to)
•
Understanding roles played by other disciplines on the project and possessing the ability to coordinate and interface with other engineering disciplines.
•
Participating in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data prepared by other engineers or subcontractors.
•
Preparing design studies, project scopes and engineering estimates.
•
Managing budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with the designated work assignment with minimal guidance and technical oversight.
•
Preparing electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications and can evaluate technical bids and select equipment.
•
Devising new approaches to technical problems.
•
Traveling and participating in field installation, checkout, and start-up.
•
Directing and overseeing routine and advanced technical work performed by others on assigned projects and maintaining quality standards of all assigned projects.
Required Qualifications / skills
•
