About the role
As a Sr. Buyer to the infrastructure department, you will be supporting our IT sourcing initiatives. The department will be responsible for purchasing and managing the IT equipment both Hardware and Software. This role supports our entire global organization and serves as the primary point of contact with key internal executives and strategic vendors.
What you’ll be doing:
•
Responsible for the procurement, maintenance and/or refurbishment of hardware, software, and inventory management.
•
Manage contact between external IT suppliers, vendors or contractors
•
Providing integration and support for the procurement system that the department is using
•
Also help out with processing invoices and work with tickets to provide hardware or software
•
Maintain the whole Purchase order cycle
•
Data entry and keep all the records updated in the system
•
Provide support and guidance to less senior colleagues
What you’ll need to be successful:
Must haves:
•
5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement
•
A bachelor’s degree/ diploma in Procurement, Sourcing, Administration or related field or sufficient experience
