Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Platform Engineer or related occupation with experience in programming and running production systems or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience as a Platform Engineer or related occupation with experience in programming and running production systems. Specific skills/other requirements – Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Java, NoSQL, SQL, Microservices architecture, Spring, Docker, design patterns; cloud technologies: GCP or Azure; Continuous integration/delivery pipelines using Jenkins or Maven; Okta and Auth0 identity providers; implementing web application and API solutions using Spring framework and ReSTful services; Work effectively and cooperatively with senior management, customers, co-workers; Superior program management and organization skills.
