IT Operations Engineer

Operations Engineer, you’ll help ensure stability, security, and performance—while driving

automation and continuous improvement in a modern engineering environment.

Role summary

You will manage infrastructure and operating environments, respond to incidents, and improve

system reliability through automation. This role blends hands-on engineering with operational

ownership, giving you exposure to cloud, containers, and enterprise-scale platforms.

Your focus will include:

• Managing Linux and Windows environments

• Supporting virtualized and containerized platforms

• Monitoring system performance and resolving incidents

• Automating repetitive operational tasks

• Improving reliability, availability, and scalability

About the team

You will join a globally connected operations environment supporting Retail Banking services. The team works across infrastructure, platforms, and applications—

collaborating closely with engineering, security, and architecture teams.

Expect a diverse, international setup where knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement

are part of everyday work.

Required skills

We’re looking for engineers who are curious, proactive, and comfortable working across

technologies.

Core technical skills:

• Strong experience with Linux and Windows systems

• Virtualization (VMWare or similar)

• Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)

• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Networking fundamentals (DNS, firewalls, load balancing)Engineering & operations:

• Scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or Go)

• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git)

• Configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

• Monitoring and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)

• Incident and problem management

Nice to have:

• Database knowledge (SQL)

• Experience with IT risk controls, audit support, or compliance

• Exposure to high-availability and disaster recovery setups
