Job Description:
Responsibilities
The Can Line Mechanic is responsible for performing advanced mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing on high-speed canning line equipment, including seamers, fillers, packers, cartoners, palletizers, and conveyor systems.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•
Execute equipment setups, changeovers, and precision adjustments to ensure seamer integrity, fill accuracy, and overall packaging quality.
•
Complete preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with OEM and plant standards, diagnoses root causes of equipment failures, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
•
Document work orders and maintenance activities within the CMMS, collaborating closely with Production, Quality, and Controls teams, and assisting with equipment rebuilds, overhauls, installations, and can line startups.
•
Strict adherence to safety standards, GMP requirements, and food manufacturing compliance is essential. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, lift to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work flexible schedules including overtime as needed.

Job Details:
•
Work Hours: Monday thru Friday, Business Hours, Overtime as needed.
•
Work Attire: Use good judgment, keeping in mind the nature of their work, their own safety and the safety of others, and their need to interact with the public.
•
Pay Range: $46-$50 hourly
•
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
