Lead a homeroom class of children aged 2 to 4 alongside co-teachers, planning and delivering play-based, inquiry-led learning
•
Observe, assess and record progress through learning stories, portfolios and progress reports
•
Differentiate learning to meet each child’s developmental needs, interests and cultural background
•
Establish predictable routines and positive behaviour guidance that build self-regulation, cooperation and respect
•
Keep children physically and emotionally safe through active supervision and consistent health, hygiene and child protection procedures
•
Work closely with co-teachers and teaching assistants to achieve bilingual learning outcomes
•
Build strong partnerships with families through monthly updates, conferences and opportunities to join classroom events
•
Take part in professional development, curriculum planning and the school’s international accreditation work
•
Help new international colleagues settle into the school’s early-years philosophy
•
Support occasional weekend school events and community activities
