Role Overview
As a Technician at Boxbot, you’ll play a critical role in building, testing, and maintaining our robotic delivery systems. Working closely with engineering, operations, and deployment teams, you’ll help ensure our technology performs reliably both in-house and at customer sites. This is a hands-on role where technical expertise, problem-solving, and adaptability come together to support Boxbot’s mission.
What You’ll Do
•
Assemble, test, and troubleshoot robotic systems and supporting infrastructure
•
Support the development and refinement of standard operating procedures
•
Collect, analyze, and document system performance data during testing and deployments
•
Assist engineering teams with prototype builds, field tests, and feasibility projects
•
Provide on-site technical support during installations, commissioning, and maintenance
•
Perform electrical wiring, harness assembly, and connector installations
•
Contribute to process improvements by documenting best practices and lessons learned
Qualifications
•

Location & Travel
This role is based in Alameda, CA. Travel may be required for system installations, testing, and customer support. Willing to travel occasionally during project deployments (up to 2-3 weeks at a time). Maximum 25% travel time.
