Monitor and improve production metrics – yield, throughput, retest rate, and cycle time; lead SPC implementation and continuous improvement initiatives; manage hold-lot disposition for production-line quality events and lead customer-return RMA (20%).
•
Drive automation and process standardization – convert currently manual, tribal-knowledge processes (pick-and-place packaging, optical alignment, light coupling) into documented, automated, and scalable production; build and maintain test-procedure documentation (X/Y/Z stage calibration, laser-path tuning, recipe management) and release into Semtech AgilePLM (20%).
•
Support customer test-data requirements – test data integrity, e-data delivery, and shipment quality; partner with Semtech IT and customer counterparts on automated test-data transmission and API integration to customer systems (15%).
•
Support test capacity ramp planning, including qualification of new test equipment (BI, LIP, ECL, gain test); provide regular status updates on open initiatives to the internal management team and key customers (15%).
