Job Responsibilities
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of critical server, network, and storage infrastructure in both on-premise and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible) to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, often involving multi-vendor technologies, ensuring minimal downtime and impact.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure infrastructure scalability and support for new applications and services.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide expert-level support for production systems outside of standard business hours.
• Conduct performance monitoring, capacity planning, and system tuning to optimize resource utilization and user experience.
• Implement and enforce security best practices, compliance standards, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance system capabilities and reduce operational costs.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and architectural designs thoroughly.
